Welcome to Watermark Safety

Watermark Safety was formed to fill a void in highway safety. The Texas Hill Country is known by the National Weather Service as "Flash Flood Alley" because of it's topography and the proximity to the Gulf of Mexico the Hill Country experiences "Flash Floods" many times every year. Cypress lined, crystal clear creeks and rivers, in a mater of minutes become raging torrents of muddy water and debris. Roads that a few minutes before went over the water are now anywhere from a few inches to many feet under water.

Watermark Safety installed its first "Mark V Flood Tower" for testing and demonstration purposes in the Olmos Basin in Alamo Heights on June 23, 2004. We are constantly working to improve safety during flash flood conditions, by developing products that use the best available electronic equipment.
